For the purposes of this tracker, a "property company" is a UK company whose recorded business activity is in property investment, ownership or letting. Construction-only businesses are treated separately.

- The Gazette — the UK's official public record, where every corporate insolvency event must by law be published: winding-up petitions, winding-up orders, administrator appointments, resolutions for winding-up and liquidator appointments.
